That was then…

slater - keeping the buggers honest

This is now…

Slater taking media companies to court

Pretty hard to “keep the buggers honest” when the media are muzzled.

Or is Slater going to take on the role instead of media watchdog?

Yeah, because this guy has had such success with the MSM…

Why stop at closing down just one newspaper, eh Cam?

So many media…

Think anybody is going to muzzle WhaleOil, Frank? It would be hilarious (and in light of Mr. Pleasants, justified) but I doubt it highly.

Not so much “muzzled” now, Michael, as neutered. I’m guessing most politicians will treat Slater like an Ebola carrier and not want to go anywhere near him. Which means his source of “news” may dry up – if for a while, anyway. (Except Collins; she’s so virulent in her hatred as to be utterly stupid to the consequences of her actions.)

I’d love to know if he can be taken to task for what happened to Mr. Pleasants. It would be poetic justice in this instance. What say you, Frank?

    Because this is abject hypocrisy.
