    He was brought up in a State house, got free education,including tertiary, free health care.Now being homeless doesn’t qualify one to get on the waiting list for a State rental,there’s no free education and no public health system.

    LOLOLOL.

    God I feel awfully nostalgic over this last comment. John Key is so out of touch, that even he doesn’t realise you can’t do what his mother did all those years ago, and you can’t do what he did all those years ago. Now, you have to work whilst studying in order to pay off your student loan (That’s stressful – far more than anything Key had to put up with). Those in Housing NZ houses (if you’re lucky) probably don’t have the inclination to study at tertiary level. That’s more or less Housing NZ discriminating against those that are clever, but poor.

    I know many people that fallen through the cracks of the system because the system is too bureaucratic to fix the problems it has. What do you think Christchurch is all about anyway? Talking shop of madness.
