John Banks; a sexist pig as well as soon-to-be-ex-MP

This requires no further commentary,

Well, except this. Banks witters on about our kids needing a “world class education”.

It’s a shame he never learned simple lessons to do with common courtesy.

All of them …we pay them how much for this sort of Governance? Too sickening to call a Government – they tell half-truths to benefit agendas that have NOTHING to do with developing a respectable society.

What they don’t realise, Patti, is that when they behave like this, people do notice. And bloggers are only too happy to spread this around.

I found this on Coley Tangerina’s blog, and instantly re-post it here.

This is the real John Banks and the more folk that see this, the better.

Geez i cannot believe how much those people get paid for being such a bunch of bloody idiots!

If we behaved like that when we were kids, it was no TV for a week!! 😦

Breathtakingly stupid…..the man who, when asked about Charter Schools, said, “My eyes glaze over when asked about Charter Schools.” Had the cheek last night to say on TV that if the Greens got anywhere near education “the world would come to an end” – my words, but that was the inference. Has passed his use by date, if he ever was any use as a politician at either local or central government. All children to have a world class education? “Five out of five” – we all wish that but there is a socio-economic problem that impacts on lack of achievement for some students – called ‘poverty’. NZ being in the top 4 in OECD rankings of ed achievement is a good place to be, just have to level to Finland at number 1 so lets look closer at what they are doing….it is impressive with charter schools no where in sight.

As usual, you’re on the money, McClairy. Not a Charter sxchool to be seen in Finland – but lots of training and respect for teachers. They invest heavily in education and the results are obvious.

Charter schools seems to be a “cheap & nasty” wat for the Nats to try to achieve the same ends. As usual, the Nats don’t get; lack of investment and cheap options will give us poor outcomes.

Cheap & nasty – the National way.

What Banks really meant to say: “Every child deserves a world-class education… provided by one of my rich mates from big business in exchange for getting me a cushy job once I’m inevitably chucked out on my arse for being a disingenuous shit.”

Banks was useless as MP for Whangarei. And he’s only got worse with age.

      Ah, yes, Perfidion…

I recall how he used to spend more time as a radio host for his rant-back show, rather than MP for his own electorate. Buggered if I know why Whangarei voters would vote for someone like that…
